Ford Motorsport

A commission by Ford design Europe and Ford motor sport let me to take a series of photographs for their brochures, exhibition posters and advertising to show off the new Formula Ford.  Within the initial photography ideas we included a racing track shot and some detail shots inside the climate tunnel. To emphasise and highlight the shape and form of the dynamic formula one curves we underexposed the ambient light to help contrast smoke against the background environment which worked well.

Lighting trickery, a little technical know-how and some imagination add up to us capturing the resulting sharp and shiny shots.
